“Komi. A growing Sculpture” (1997-2007) is an almost ten year long work process during which a Centre for Sustainable Forestry was initiated as a growing sculpture in the Taiga, in the Russian Republic of Komi.

Combining intuitive perception and scientific precision to one another, the artist illuminates the relationship between biological and cultural diversity and presents a trendsetting aesthetic basic investigation.
