For me, drawings are a central stock of inspiration – a medium of intimacy. Pencil, coloured pencil, plant saps such as blueberry juice, ink and linseed oil are all materials apart from the digital overload. The paper with all its qualities is also important for me when drawing. I’ve always drawn since childhood, which may have been one reason why I initially did an apprenticeship as a graphic designer. Today my oeuvre includes hundreds of sheets, they often contain notes and abstract patterns that originate from the natural science and philosophy.
