The installation of a piece of rail track and the anthracite coal is a symbol of the brief fragment of time that makes up the fossil age in relation to the entire history of the earth (1983).

The work was created for the Kunstmuseum Thun in cooperation with the Kyrgyz artist Shaarbek Amankul (2012-2014).
